Single Shot is my collection of creative and short writing - the "bits and bobs" that don't quite fit into the trip reports and gear reviews filling my other blog, Climb.Ski.Run.Sleep.Repeat. I figure if I'm going to be an addict to something caffeine is better then the arsenal of other recreation drugs, legal and ill, that are available. So coffee is good, but like any addict I've stopped noticing the effects. So when I want a real kick in between the eyes I make a red-eye: coffee with a shot of espresso. That's my goal for this blog: mountain inspired quick bits to hit a spot in the head or the heart. Say less. Mean more.
